Martin Long (a member on here) of Sugar Marketing is a bit of a pay per click (PPC) whizz, might be worth giving him a shout.
I think most people are currently finding Google maps a bit of a mystery...I have no idea what criteria it uses…

hi Jill, I have used google adwords and found it good. its easy to set up and use and its does give you good tracking and feedback on the number of hits you get on search terms etc so you can work out what keywords are working for you. as to budget,…

Has anyone used Googles Adwords "Pay per click advertising". I was thinking of signing up for this one but I'm put off by not knowing how much to bid per click in order to beat my competitors. When Google maps first came out my listing was at the top for my location then I changed my business address (about 5 weeks ago) and now it's on a map that no one ever searches for, I change the address back now I'm not listed at all on the first page.Are there any experts out there that can help? TAX DEADLINES
Sorry to be boring but someone has to be an accountant. Just to remind everyone that your self assessment tax returns are due by 31st January 2010 (penalty £100, HMRC get enough out of us so don't give them anymore than you have to, so do your returns on time). Don't forget to charge 17.5% VAT from 1/1/2010 on your sales if you are VAT registered and from April 2010 you will have get to grips with the technology and file your VAT returns online.
