Tunbridge Wells FC

Is everyone aware that Tunbridge Wells FC will be playing at Wembley on Saturday 4th May in the FA Vase final.

This is a national competition that had over 540 entreants and now Tunbridge Wells will play Spennymoor Town at the "home of football".

New member - new business

Hello to all and apologies I cannot make this evenings event.

 

Have pencilled in April's event although ice cream in April might be a bit optimistic looking outside the window now!

I have set up as an independant construction health and safety advisor (and CDM co-ordintaor for those who know a bit about construction) and will be launching website soon.

Now my garden leave has finished from my former employer I can market my services actively.

Find more clients workshop 31st January

Following the success of these workshops last year, I am pleased to announce a new series for 2013 

The workshop is a four week programme , although there is no requirement or commitment to attend all four weeks.

They will be held on 31st Jan,  7th, 14th and 21st Feb 9am until 1pm, and places are strictly limited .

 The fee is £100 per head per session, and if you are unable to attend, they can be held on-site at your premises at a fee of £150 per head.

How long is reasonable to wait for payment?

 

I don't know what business you're in; maybe you design websites or create winning ad campaigns, recruit staff, landscape gardens, whatever ....The work probably takes weeks maybe months with real costs; materials, wages, overheads and you send in your invoice. Then you wait, how long? 30 days, 60, 90? Any longer and you're getting seriously worried. And isn't it funny how the client who was calling you all the time while the work was ongoing fails to return your calls now you want…

Millenium Clock Scandal

Calling at the Gateway I was told repair of “that clock”  is in hand.  It has been stopped since well before Christmas.  Apparently the contractors responsible are “very busy”.  .If they are the same people who sold the council this boondoggle in the first place, haven’t they set themselves up with work forever!  What we need in addition to a little initiative from the council, is an entrepreneur to undercut these people with a better service.…
