Business Networking in West Kent - Events in Tunbridge Wells
When visiting a client for the first time, I am often confronted with the following objection:
“We get new people every day which reduces productivity – why should we use Temp Network?”
My answer is a simple one! However, there are two stages.......................
1. We want to understand the client and their
needs. Not just the ideal world scenario discussed in the office. I mean real
hands on experience on the production line / warehouse floor / sales office and
actually doing the job or job(s) our temporary staff will be expected to do. By
actually experiencing the role, it is easier to explain in detail to a
potential candidate and gain a good match.
2. On the first day our temporary worker is due to
work, we arrive and introduce our candidate to their line manager and stay long
enough to make sure that our staff are being productive and not just costing
our client money.
By taking the time to explain the job, the rota for breaks, where canteen facilities are and such like, we know our temporary workers feel
more involved in the job they have been sent to do. This means a more motivated
and productive temp that fits in as part of your workforce rather than the
traditional temp who is just there for a wage.
Productivity is up, the same people return day after day, and who knows, our client may even find their next member of staff through us!
If you or your supervisory team find that you are spending far too much time telling people where the fire exit is and what time their lunch break is, and having to do it again
tomorrow, why not allow us to see if we can offer an alternative staffing
solution?
Just a brief 20 minute face to face meeting will allow us the opportunity to see how we can be of service. We can supply you staff to
cover your holiday requirements or support you through a busy trading period.
For management or permanent roles we can work with you on the job spec and the
interview process.
